How to Eliminate Blackheads and Get the Clear Skin You’ve Always Wanted
For any skincare enthusiast, clear skin is the ultimate goal!
Unfortunately, there’s a few things standing in the way of attaining a beautiful, radiant complexion. Whether its dryness, blemishes, pigmentation, or those pesky little bumps called blackheads, achieving clear skin isn’t always as easy as it seems.
The good news is that with a little TLC, you can finally start to see the results you’ve always dreamed of.
In today’s article, we’re delving into the topic of blackheads and how you can eliminate these small, unsightly black dots from your skin.
What are Blackheads?
Blackheads are most commonly seen on oily, blemished prone skin. They appear as small, black dots or bumps on the surface of the skin, and are commonly found on the nose, chin and forehead.
One common misconception is that blackheads are trapped dirt, but they’re actually not.
Blackheads occur when your skin produces too much oil (sebum). Oil and dead skin cells become trapped in hair follicles, causing a comedo or bump to occur. If the skin over the bump opens, the trapped oil is exposed to air and turns black.
Essentially blackheads are a form of mild acne. However, blackheads are different to spots as acne bacteria has to be present for a blemish to form.
While blackheads aren’t painful or harmful, they can cause embarrassment to the sufferer, especially if a lot of blackheads are present in one area.
How to Remove Blackheads
Thankfully, you can establish an effective skincare routine to take care of your complexion.
Always wash your face with a gentle cleanser which will help to remove dirt, grime and oil from the surface of your skin. This will prevent any further blackheads from forming.
You can remove your cleanser with a soft cloth to help gently exfoliate your complexion.
Products with a thinner texture are better absorbed, especially serums which target the deeper layers of the skin. If you have oily skin, using creams with thicker textures can block your pores, contributing to blackheads.
Comedone Vacuum Pro features 4 different heads which aim to deeply cleanse the skin and remove impurities.
#1 Before you use any blackhead device, you’ll need to open your pores by steaming the skin. You can either do this by taking a warm shower beforehand or placing a warm, damp cloth over your face for 3 to 5 minutes.
#2 Next, apply the diamond beauty head on the Comedone Vacuum Pro and use it over the skin (avoiding the eye area) in round, circular motions. The diamond head contains natural mineral crystalline particles to gently exfoliate your complexion, removing dead skin cells.
#3 Next, apply the face lifting head, which can be used to help deeply cleanse large areas of blackheads. Use in round, circular motions all over the face, apart from the eye area. The gentle stimulating effect also firms the face.
#4 Finally, on smaller areas of blackheads, such as the nose, use the deep pore cleansing head. This tool is perfect for using on sensitive areas.
#5 Once completed, splash cold water over your face or place a cold, damp cloth over your complexion for 3 to 5 minutes. This helps to close your pores.
#6 Apply your normal moisturiser.
Using a blackhead tool once per week will start to eliminate stubborn blackheads. In addition, you can use a clarifying clay mask and pore strips once per week.
Preventing blackheads from forming, as well as removing them will give you the clear skin you’ve always wanted!
